@UnsalCS The RAF are known as having the greatest airforce in the world so bragging rights do have a deep meaning, this is simply a race to beat an overrated car which never stood a chance anyway. My guess is this pilot was told by his superiors to not do anything reckless.

And FYI – every other year, during ‘war games’, various air-forces compete on how low they can fly over the strip – down to mere inches – and for what you might ask?? – bragging rights only.

The fighter didn’t go as low as it could. Still a great video and a race. Next time get someone that can drive that car though, since the fighter fighter pilot is experienced, the driver should be too.

Sthill1993 you make several good points. Other countries do make good cars. But to claim the veyron is anything special is mildly retarted. My 92 mustang will spank it in a 1/4 mile( under 20,000 invested) and I drive it anywhere I want. If I spent the rest of the half a million dollars it would take to get the veyron I could probably beat it on a road course.
